Im confused. Proshippers (fiction or not) are actively validating the things they ship irl. If they find it okay when people are actively trying to show how bad it is in fiction, what makes you any different? I heavily understand its not REAL, but your making it seem okay to do this irl. You stating that this is okay in ANY manner is validating those who are into it. I.e. the two who state that if Toodles and Gourdy were real they would have no problem taking advantage of and raping them, meaning that they would have no qualms with preying on a minor. Its validation for predators, incest couples, rapists, ext. Im not trying to be an ass. I am anti-proship, but I'm also anti-harassment/witchhunting because at the end of the day, I don't believe anyone should be harassed, shit on, threatened, told to die, ext. I really am curious on what sets this apart from validating those who do this in real life, and validating those who actively say they would have no qualms about being into children, siblings being into each other, rape, ext under specific conditions.

hi ok this is really long. liking stuff in fiction isnt validating them irl. fictional characters are not real and cannot get hurt, real people can. thats how its different.
